You are the Light of the World. Shine your Light.
Opened in 2001, the College has now grown to over 700 students. Lumen Christi is committed to the mission of evangelisation and to modelling the teachings of Christ in all we do. We are part of the Canberra Goulburn Archdiocese, led by the Director, Mr Ross Fox and Archbishop Christopher Prowse and have forged strong links with the local parishes with Fr George Ogah playing an active role in the life of the College.
The motto of Lumen Christi challenges all of us to “Be the Light of Christ”. This motto underpins all that we do as a College, from our everyday interaction with people to our involvement in the local community. The theme of light is also central to our broader educational mission as we attempt to inspire all students to “shine their light” and be the best they can be. Each year a spiritual theme is also established to provide a particular focus for that year. For 2023 our theme comes from Ephesians 4:32 ... "Be kind and compassionate to one another”

Quality pastoral care is central to Lumen Christi. Students belong to a dynamic House system from Kindergarten to Year 12, and are arranged in vertical pastoral classes in Years 7 to 12 which encourages “big sister/brother” relationships.
Our College Houses are named in recognition of the ongoing custodianship of the South East region of NSW by the Yuin people; Baringa, the light; Bobberrer, the land; Monaroo, the people; and Gudu, the water. These house names serve as a constant reminder of our responsibility to God’s creation, and our call to the stewardship of all God has entrusted to us. The house names are also a reminder of the magnificent beauty of the region in which we live, surrounded by the Ben Boyd National Park, bordered by the vastness of the Pacific ocean, and boasting one of the most temperate climates in Australia.
Dedicated to educating the whole person, Lumen Christi is part of a wider community committed to providing the best possible opportunities to the young people on the Far South Coast and Bombala region.
We look forward to welcoming you to our College Community.
