Dear Parents and Carers
We’re taking enrolments for 2024 in Kindergarten and Year 7 but places are filling quickly…
Interested in commencing your Year 7 pathway into Lumen Christi Catholic College. We have vacancies in Year 4, 2024 at the moment.
If you currently have a child at Lumen Christi with a sibling you’d like to attend Lumen next year, it’s important to complete an online enrolment application form as soon as possible. Once you’ve submitted your child’s online application, the College will contact you with further information.
If you know of a family thinking of enrolling at Lumen Christi in 2024 who may not of yet contacted us, please suggest they complete the online form or contact the College for further information.
For further information, please contact our Enrolment Officer, Catherine Martino, by telephoning (02) 6495 8888 or emailing catherine.martino@cg.catholic.edu.au
Lumen Christ Catholic College will be holding their Learning Journey on Wednesday 7 September. This is a chance to visit the classroom with your child to see some of the great work they have been doing this year.
Due to current restrictions this will need to be a ticketed event. When you go to your child's class you will be able to book a time to visit. The times are 5 minutes apart. This does not mean that you will only be allocated 5 minutes but it will ensure that the arrival of visitors will be spaced out and we will not have too many people in the classrooms at any one time. Bookings will be made through SENTRAL. Bookings will be open from 8:00am Monday 29 August and will close Friday 2 September.
When: Wednesday, 7 September 3.45pm to 6:00pm
Where: LCCC Classrooms
Booking: On Sentral from Monday, 29 August to Friday, 2 September.
If you have any questions, please contact 6495 8888 or your classroom teacher.
Dear Parents and Carers
Over the last couple of days the College has had a number of unwell students admitted to College sick bay.
Sometimes keeping your child at home can be a difficult decision, but sending a sick child to school can result in a miserable day of learning for your child.
There’s also a very good chance that your child is spreading their illness to their classmates, teachers and staff on College campus.
If your child is feeling unwell, for any reason, please keep your child at home.
If you are concerned about your child falling behind in their studies, please contact their PC teacher who may be able to assist with having work sent home.
We appreciate your assistance with this. For further information please contact the College on 6495 8888 or email lccc@cg.catholic.edu.au.
Please see the below correspondence from Catholic Education Director Ross Fox.

Parent resource: ‘Nurturing your child through transition’
As 2023 enrolment is underway, we are drawn to think about transitions for our students. Transitions can be hard for our students and for parents, as they navigate the anxiety and fear that can sometimes happen with change. A fantastic resource to support families with this is the CSPA “Gearing up for Parent Engagement in Student Learning”. This resource provides a parent module on Nurturing your child through transition – Primary and Nurturing your child through transition - Secondary providing some concrete and practical advice to be shared with your families and school community.
