Master of Teaching Information Night
Wednesday 27 September, 5.30-6.30pm
UOW Bega Valley, 176 Auckland St Bega
- You’ll be meeting a need in our schools – there is strong demand for new teachers. Having people with knowledge, skills, a supportive mindset and the passion to inspire learning working with our children and young people is crucial to our future.
- Make a positive impact. Inspire and support children and young people as they grow into the people they will be. (Think about a teacher who inspired you. You could be that person for others).
- Become part of a community of practice that supports one another. At UOW Bega, those supportive relationships are built from your first class throughout the degree.
- You will develop transferable skills in communication, teamwork, interpersonal relations, leadership, problem solving and organisation
- Teaching is a challenging and rewarding career, with scope for creativity and fun alongside the challenges. Nothing beats the satisfaction of seeing the ‘lightbulb moments’ and making a difference in others’ lives.
If you have a degree, come and find out whether you might be eligible to study the Master of Teaching course (Primary or Secondary) at UOW Bega. You’ll hear from Master of Teaching Associate Program Director, Sue Duchesne to learn more about the program, and hear from current and former students about their experience.
If you don’t have an undergraduate degree yet, you can talk to bega@uow.edu.au about starting your journey towards becoming a teacher with a Bachelor of Arts or Commerce degree.
RSVP to bega@uow.edu.au or phone 64947035 for more information.
